Gerald Ford has been involved and engaged in supply chain for over 40 years and is a honourary life member of Supply Chain Canada. Always curious and willing to learn and share, Jerry is uniquely positioned to make this session both enjoyable and thought provoking. Jerry has worked for over 100 companies and in various sectors. Included in the list are, The University of Waterloo, The City of Cambridge, IBM Canada, Open Text, The Cooperators, Denso Manufacturing, Proveer and now Kinetic GPO just to name a few.
Jerry has served as President of the Ontario Institute of Supply Chain Canada, President of two local chapters of the Association and advised on 3 different program advisory committees (Conestoga College, Mohawk College and Fanshaw College)

What isn’t always known about Jerry is that he taught a variety of courses for Conestoga College from 1984 to 2018. He spent most of his time teaching human resources and technology topics.

In 2012, Jerry founded QCsolver, with the intent to help automate various supply chain back-office practices and administrative procedures.

In 2017, Jerry joined Kinetic Group Purchasing as their Director of Supplier development. In 4 short years, Kinetic has grown to have over 500 members in every province and in every public sector.

In his “spare” time, Jerry is a mentor for both Supply Chain Canada and the local YMCA Immigration Partnership.

With over 9,000 LinkedIn connections, Jerry knows that he doesn’t need to know everything. As long as he knows someone who does.
