Infection Control for Health Care Facilities and Facility Managers: Major changes in the 2022 edition of the Infecion Control during Construction, Renovation and Maintenance in Health Care Facilities Standard

The first of the 3-part webinar series will explore how the CSA Z317.13:22 Infection Control during Construction, Renovation and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities standard has evolved into its current version. While techniques for curbing the spread of infection have become common place in this field, the 2022 edition of the standard raises the bar to reduce the reservoir of fungal and bacterial load in new buildings thereby reducing the risk of spreading infections during any future project. With dozens of changes to the standard between editions, this webinar will highlight the major changes of which CHES members should be aware.
