Proposed requirements for Z317.2-15 (HVAC)

One of the most used CSA standards in the Health Care Facility (HCF) field is CAN/CSA Z317.2-10 Special Requirements for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems in Health Care Facilities.  This important document is referenced by building codes across the country.  Over the past five years this field, like so many others, has advanced and new technologies continue to push the evolution of standards.

The technical sub-committee responsible for this standard is wrapping up their work toward a new and improved edition of the document.  Undoubtedly, this new edition (expected to be released in spring/summer of 2015) will eventually be adopted by the building codes across the nation as has its predecessors.  There will be changes – some may well impact how you do your job!  Be among the first to know what those changes will be by attending this webinar.

This webinar is intended to highlight the evolution of the HVAC standard and feature some of the sections that have been improved or added since the release of the 2010 edition.  Both the chair, and vice-chair of the technical subcommittee will share their thoughts on what the changes are, why they were implemented and what they mean to CHES members.
