Per Paache Memorial Bursary

The CHES Maritime bursary is named after our late colleague, Per Paache. Per was from New Brunswick and dedicated his career to the advancement of engineering, particularly in healthcare. Per served with the University of New Brunswick, Institute of Biomedical Engineering and devoted much time developing hospital commissioning initiatives across the province. Per’s working career and his knowledge in his field of expertise and work ethic was exemplary. He was a devoted CHES member and was a part of the foundation on which the organization stands today.  It is in his honour that this bursary was named.

Cette bourse est attribuée en l’honneur de Per Paasche. Originaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, Per a consacré sa carrière au développement de l’ingénierie, particulièrement celle des services de santé. Per a travaillé à l’Institut de génie biomédical de l’Université du Nouveau-Brunswick et a consacré une grande partie de ses activités à des initiatives de mise en service d’hôpitaux dans toute la province. Outre ses connaissances approfondies dans son domaine d’expertise, Per a mené une carrière professionnelle accomplie avec une éthique de travail exemplaire. C’était un membre dévoué de la SCISS et une pierre angulaire de la fondation sur laquelle notre organisation repose aujourd’hui.
