Our 2011 conference is being held at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, Winnipeg MB, with the theme of Sustaining Healthcare Infrastructure. Whether we know it or not, our healthcare infrastructure is at a critical cross road. In some parts of our country, people are working feverishly building new healthcare buildings to take them well into the 21st century. In other parts of our country, people are working tirelessly to renew those older buildings to help take them through the coming years.
Regardless of where you live and work, there is a need to ensure appropriate healthcare which, in turn, requires that all important supporting infrastructure. CHES members are often called on from many perspectives when it comes to the infrastructure. Be it planning, designing, building, operating or maintaining those buildings, from the hands on members to those who supply products for these activities, CHES members are a key component of sustaining these critical infrastructure elements.
Our dual tracked program will include sessions on planning, designing, building, operating and maintaining these complex buildings ensuring regulatory compliance while at the same providing for positive patient experiences and outcomes.
When delegates leave the 2011 CHES Trade Show & Education Forum, they will have new ideas, a renewed enthusiasm and most importantly, a direction of actions to be taken in their own buildings to ensure that the healthcare infrastructure in which they have been entrusted is the best it can possibly be.
