Dear CHES Ontario Member, The 2015 Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society - Ontario Chapter 35th Annual Conference and Trade Show held which was held on May 24 - 27, 2015 in Ottawa ON. was a great success both from an attendance and financial perspective. This year's theme was Ideas Start Here! with a wide variety of topics that I'm sure generated ideas for your facility. There were 67 exhibitors at the trade show and a variety of educational sessions offered over 2 days. More than 100 delegates were registered to attend, making this one of the best attended chapter conferences in a long time. The venue was ideally suited for our show and the food and facilities were excellent. I wish to thank the Conference Planning Committee consisting of Alden Buttle, Chris Rousseau, Allan Kelly, Mike Bendell, Jason Pillon, Dino Marra, and Jim Durocher for all their hard work in making the events run smoothly. I also have to thank Barb Leili and Margo Bendell for helping at the registration desk and shepherding the companions on their tour. The golf outing saw perfect weather for the 60 who participated. Less than perfect weather forced the companion tour to modify the program but still offered great entertainment. A saxophone quartet entertained us at our Sunday reception and three comedians kept us laughing at the gala banquet on Monday evening.
