I will share my experiences in how leveraging a GPOs can help with Capital Planning, Budget Development, and even Project Finance. During my time at Pembroke Regional Hospital, I was responsible for the 10-year capital plan and working with the end user departments to create and deliver on these plans. In Healthcare, there are a few streams of Capital funds; Owner and Hospital Infrastructure Renewal Funds (HIRF) being the two that we as an organization utilized.
