Speaker:  René Nadeau, P. Eng.

20170530 Nadeau Rene

René Nadeau is the Operations Manager for Busch Vacuum Technics Inc (Canada).  Busch is the world leader in the designing, engineering and manufacturing of vacuum pumps and vacuum systems.

Mr. Nadeau has been associated with the medical gas industry since 1996.  Throughout his career, he has been heavily involved in the design, manufacturing and marketing of well over 600 medical vacuum, medical air and anaesthetic gas scavenging systems.  He has also participated in the design and manufacturing of vacuum systems for various other industries such as: food, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastics, wood, printing and power generation.

His academic training includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, both from École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Mr. Nadeau is a member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) and of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). He has been an active member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Technical Sub-Committee on Medical Gas Pipeline Systems since 1998 for which he currently serves as Chair of the Supply Systems Working Group.

Mr. Nadeau has been invited, on numerous occasions, to be a speaker and a trainer on medical air and medical vacuum across Canada and even United-States, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, India and South Korea.
