The CSA Z462 Workplace electrical safety Standard just published 4th Edition, January 8, 2018 and has moved to require risk assessments for energized electrical work tasks. A mandatory requirement in CSA Z462 is that an employer shall have a documented and implemented Electrical Safety Program. WH&S Regulations continue to evolve in their recognition of electrical hazards. WorkSafeMB, Part 38 Electrical Safety has specific content with respect to energized electrical work. Developing and implementing an Electrical Safety Program provides the basis for good due diligence. | |
