We are pleased to announce that the successful applicant for the $1000 Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES) Maritime Chapter’s 2015 Per Paache Bursary is Kyle Bouchie. Kyle is the son of CHES Maritime member Joe Bouchie. Joe is the Environmental Director at RK MacDonald Nursing Home in Antigonish Nova Scotia.

Kyle, 21 years old, is from Antigonish, NS. Kyle has always been involved in sports and enjoyed science. He developed a passion for engineering and attended St.F.X University in 2012 for two years where he obtained his diploma. It was there that he was presented with the Engineers Nova Scotia Student Award recognizing hard work, dedication, professionalism, and social skills within the engineering program.

Kyle is presently enrolled in the Dalhousie University Cooperative Education Mechanical Engineering Program and doing a work term at A.H. Roy & Associates Engineering Consultants Ltd. in Antigonish. He plans to continue his education and work towards his Professional Engineer status.
