2025 Maritime Chapter - Per Paasche Bursary Winner - Jacob Comeau

Congratulations to this year’s bursary recipient Jacob Comeau. Jacob is from Summerville, NB, a small rural community about 45 minutes away from the city of Saint John. Jacob is a graduate of Hampton High School, and is very involved in his community, participating as a junior firefighter and volunteer flood mitigation support when needed. Jacob has been accepted to the Mechanical Technician program offered at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) Saint John with aspiration to work within healthcare facilities in the future. Jacob is active in motorcross and snowmobile racing, enjoys skiing, snowboarding and repairing/maintaining recreational vehicles & automobiles.
Jacob is the son of CHES Maritime member Helen Comeau, who is Regional Lead Quality, Fire & Workplace Prevention at the ST. John Regional Hospital.
